LEBANON -- A memorial service held at a later date for Mrs. McNeill, 79, of Lebanon.
She passed away Friday February 5, 2010 at her residence. Mrs. McNeill was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church and was a retired secretary with United Tile Company.

Survivors include: siblings Billy (Martha) Burt of Lebanon, Bobby Burt of AZ.; sister, Margie Wiegand of LA; numerous nieces and nephews, and residents of Saddlebrook Apartments.
She is preceded in death by parents Othe Lee and Vera Woods Burt; husband Harold McNeill; a sister and two brothers.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the Hillcrest Baptist Church, 621 Hartsville Pike, Lebanon, 37087.    Arrangements by Partlow Funeral Chapel, Lebanon.

LEBANON -- Graveside services were held Monday afternoon, February 8 in the Wilson County Memorial Gardens for Mrs. Hackney, 86, of Lebanon. The daughter of the late Homer Haskel and Beulah Lee Putty Duke, Mrs. Hackney died Friday, February 5, 2010 at NHC Healthcare in Murfreesboro.

She was a member of Apostolic Ark and a homemaker. Services were conducted by Rev. Ken Polk.

Survivors include: son Dwight(Rillis) Hackney of Murfreesboro; sister Ruby Tisdale of Lebanon; grandchildren Chris (Kim) Hackney, Tracey (Larry) Howse, Jamie (Julie) Hackney; great grandchildren Taylor Howse, Brandon Howse, Kenya Hackney, Rancie Herrod, and Jaysie Hackney.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband Briggsy Hackney; brothers Leon Duke, Odell Duke and James Duke.

Family and friends served as pallbearers. The family request contributions be made in her memory to the Northside Baptist Church Disaster Relief Fund Or Haiti Relief Fund, 655 West Thompson Lane, Murfreesboro 37129.    Arrangements by Partlow Funeral Chapel.

LEBANON -- Funeral services for James Fitzgerald Walworth were held Sunday afternoon, February 7 at the Immanuel Baptist Church with Pastor John Hunn officiating.   Mr. Walworth, 27 of Lebanon passed away Feb. 4, 2010, at the Summit Medical Center in Hermitage from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Born March 21, 1982, in Birmingham, Alabama, he is the son of Van Thomas and Jill Christine Bagwell Walworth. He was a 2001 graduate of Lebanon High School and a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. Mr. Walworth served in United States Army from 2002-2008, with two tours in Iraq.  He was attending the Art Institute of Nashville Culinary School.

Survivors include: his wife Danielle Peltoma Walworth whom he married September 23, 2005; parents Van & Jill Walworth of Lebanon; brothers  Michael Thomas (Amy) Walworth of Kearney, NE; and Matthew Lane (Alexandra) Walworth; sister Mary (Thomas) DuPuy -- all of Lebanon; grandparents Mary Walworth of Fort Payne, AL; James and Christine Bagwell of Argo, AL; in-laws Ned and Mary Peltoma of Geneva, OH; grandmothers-in-law Clairann McLean of New Middletown, OH; and Lorene Peltoma of Geneva, OH.

He was preceded in death by grandfather James Walworth, and grandfathers-in-law, Harold McLean, and William Peltoma. James was very passionate about animal and pet rescue. Memorials may be made to the Companion Pet Rescue, c/o Molli Bowen, 16 Starwood Cove, Jackson, 38305.

LEBANON -- Funeral services have been scheduled for 11 a.m. Thursday, February 4 at the Sellars Funeral Home on the Baddour Parkway for Mr. Taylor, 88, of Lebanon. Past president of the Lebanon Kiwanis Club and former Chairman of the Deacons at First Baptist Church, he died Feb. 1, 2010.

The son of the late W.W. and Beatrice Ellis Taylor, he had the distinction of the longest membership at FBC Lebanon. The family will be receiving friends at Sellars Funeral Home in Lebanon from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday and for one hour prior to service on Thursday.

Services will be conducted by Dr. Ray Cleek and Brother Don McElroy. Interment follows in Cedar Grove Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife of 69 years Ruth Buchanan Taylor; children Cindy (Gary Mack) Foster and Tony (Laura) Taylor; brother Paul “Buddy” (Alice) Taylor; grandchildren Jill Schuster, Janet Curlin, Kimberly Taylor, Rosekay Arnold and Jacob Brown; great-grandchildren Taylor Curlin, Cole Relford and Ayden Bentley; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Active pallbearers: Sam Pigg, Tim Taylor, Don Taylor, Ronnie Taylor, Keith Taylor, and Randall Keith. Honorary: Volunteer Sunday School Class, Milton Johnson, Sam Sherrill, Sam Swindell and Hubert Clemmons.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Taylor is preceded in death by daughter Susan Taylor, baby Maudine Taylor, brothers Elber Taylor and Edward Taylor, and great-grandchild Savannah Relford. Arrangements by Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon.

MT. JULIET -- Funeral services will be conducted 10 a.m. Thursday, February 4 at Bond Memorial Chapel for Mr. Probst, 74, of Mt. Juliet. The son of the late Levi Lee and Ella Mae Simmons Propst and an avid outdoorsman, "Sid" died Saturday, January 30, 2010.

Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at Bond Memorial Chapel, N. Mt. Juliet Road.

Survivors include: sons S. Roger (Robin) Propst, Jr. of Mt. Juliet and L. Wayne Propst of Lewisburg, NC; brother Zannie (Erna) Propst of Columbus, GA; sisters Jeannie Propst of San Diego, CA, Hazel Jones and Mary Shumate -- both of Wilkesboro, NC; grandchildren Heather (David) Conklan, Pamela Propst and Elizabeth Propst.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Probst was preceded in death siblings Odell Propst and Gladys Holcomb.
