WATERTOWN — Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon, January 24 at the Hunter Funeral Home for Mr. Masters, 84, of Watertown. Born in Essex, MO and a US Army veteran of World War II, he died Jan. 21, 2010 at his residence.

Mr. Masters was a retired TV repair technician and a member of the Watertown First Baptist Church. ervices were conducted by the Rev. Don Mathis. Burial with military honors was at the DeKalb Memorial Gardens.

Survivors include: wife Barbara McBroom Masters of Watertown and children Michael Lee (Marie) Masters of Detroit, Michigan and Sue (Ed) Muccioli of Denton, Texas; grandchildren Melissa Masters and Camille (Sgt. Jeffrey) Molnar; step-children Jimmy (Kathy) Jones, Janice (Randy) Stout, John (Myra) Jones, Jerald (Maria) Jones, Janine (David) Adams and Joel (Laura) Jones; seven step grandchildren and nine step great, great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his first wife Emma Ruth Jones Masters and his second wife Katherine Driver Masters, parents Hasten and Augusta Wallace Masters; 13 siblings. Fmily and friends served as pallbearers. Arrangements by Hunter Funeral Home, Watertown.

LEBANON — Funeral services were held Saturday morning, January 23 at the Sellars Funeral Home on the Baddour Parkway for Isabella Cadena, 7, of Lebanon. A student at McClain Christian Academy, she passed away Jan. 21, 2010.

Servicew were conducted by Father Ken Steinbrecker. Interment followed in Cedar Grove Cemetery.

Survivors include parents Ed and Emma Thompson Cadena, grandparents Steve and Carol Thompson and Guillermo and Gladys Cadena, along with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

WATERTOWN — Funeral services were held Saturday, January 23 at the Hunter Funeral Home for Mrs.Shrum, 84, of Watertown. A native of Wilson County and a former factory worker, Mrs. Shrum died Jan. 21, 2010 at her residence.

Services were conducted by Rev. Javin Sneed with burial at Wilson County Memorial Park. Survivors: daughter Betty A. Corbin of Watertown, sister Irene Shafer of Lebanon along with nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by husband Dewey Allen Shrum, daughter Linda Sue Corbin, parents Joseph S. and Hattie S. Dillard, five brothers and four sisters.

MT. JULIET — A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Monday, January 25 at Grace United Methodist Church for Mr. Lindsay, 72, of Mt. Juliet. He passed away Jan. 21, 2010.

Survivors include: wife Mary Lindsay; sons Chad Lindsay and Patrick Lindsay; brothers David Lindsay and Fred Lindsay; along with several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Lindsay was preceded in death by mother Henrietta Mee; and brothers Ted Lindsay and William Lindsay. Arrangements by Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet.

LEBANON — Funeral services have been scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday, January 23 at the Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home for Mr. Reed, 77, of Lebanon. A native of Wilson County and a veteran of the US Air Force, he died Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2010 at the Alvin C. York VA Medical Center in Murfreesboro.

Mr. Reed was the son of the late Odell and Virginia Floyd reed and a member of the Barton’s Creek Baptist Church. He was a former member of the Lebanon Jaycees and the American Legion. He was a brick mason for many years and later sold cars for Burchett Ford and Lebanon Lincoln Mercury for over 30 years.

The family will receive friends Friday between the hours of 2-8 p.m. and Saturday after 9 a.m. at the funeral home. Services will be conducted by the Rev. Terry Cathey. Interment with military honors will follow at the Barton’s Creek Cemetery.

Survivors include: his wife of over 55 years Martha Jean Sandy Reed; siblings Bobby Joe (Faye) Reed and Janette (Wendell) Hall — all of Lebanon; nieces Leasa Gammon, Angela Reed, Cindy Bjork and nephew Andy Hall.

Pallbearers: Eddie Reed, Jimmy Reed, Robert Bull, Andy Hall, Jim Bjork and Richard Gammon. Arrangements by Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home.
