WATERTOWN -- Funeral services were held Monday afternoon, December 21 at the Hunter Funeral Home for Mrs. Patterson, 89, of Murfreesboro. Born in New Middleton to the late Lillie Mai Garrison Enoch and Jessie Edward Enoch, she died Friday, Dec. 18, 2009 at NHC Healthcare in Murfreesboro. A retired seamstress, she was a member of the United Pentecostal Church. Services were conducted by Brother Roger Grisham with burial at the Brush Creek Cemetery. Survivors include: sons David (Gloria) Patterson of Murfreesboro, William "Bill" Patterson of Goodletsville, Thomas (Martha) patterson of Greenbrier and James (Kathy) Patterson of Hermitage. Also surviving are 7 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, sisters Marie Neal Lorance of Watertown and Patty Compton of Alpharetta, GA along with a host of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband Thurman Patterson, brothers James, Hubert and Dewey Patterson and sister Eddie Lee Reeves. Grandsons served as pallbearers. LEBANON -- A private family emmorial service has been planned for Mr. Robinson, 78, of Lebanon. Born August 20, 1931 in New Castle, Indiana, he died Sunday, December 20, 2009. Mr. Robinson was a graduate of the University of South Carolina where he attended on a ROTC scholarship. A veteran of the US Marine Corps, he rose to the rank of 1st Lieutenant. He began his career in the outdoor amusement business in 1964 with James E. Strates Shows and went on to retire with Cumberland Valley Shows in the late 1990’s. He was a member of Fairview Baptist Church. Survivors include: his wife of 52 years Martha Robinson; children Joe (Vi) Robinson and Connie Coomes -- both of Florida, Jeff (Madeleine) Cashdollar of Goodlettsville, Jeanan Robinson and Claudia (Nelson) Lamberson -- both of Lebanon and Stacey (Patrick) Ryan of Texas. Also surviving are grandchildren: Joe Robinson, Melisa Parkinson, Brock Cashdollar, Paula Lupton, Jerri Coomes, Nathanial Coomes, Jenna Peel, Alex White, Shelby White and McKenzie Lamberson; great-grandchildren Johnny Parkinson and Gannon Kozielski; sister Phyllis (James) Strates of Florida. Mr. Robinson was preceded in death by parents Claude and Doris Robinson and sister Carolyn Clemons. In lieu of flowers the family request contributions be made to the American Heart Association P.O. LEBANON -- Mrs. Young passed away Wednesday morning, December 15, 2009. The family will be receiving friends at Sellars Funeral Home in Lebanon from 3-8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 16 on Thursday from 9 a.m. until the service. The chapel service will be conducted by Brother Kevin Medlin. Interment will follow in Wilson County Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers: Jerry Scudder, Matt Gordon, Matt Manning, Chip Smith, Lee Grosch, Jackson McFarlin and Blake Grosch. Honorary: 4th Tuesday Bridge Club, Village Women’s Club, Frank Lamar, Margaret Nelson and the staff at Dr. Bradshaw’s office. LEBANON -- Funeral services have been scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday at the Sellars Funeral Home on the Baddour Parkway for Mrs. Knight, 86, of Lebanon. She passed away Tuesday, December 15, 2009. The family will be receiving friends at Sellars Funeral Home in Lebanon between the hours of 4-8 p.m. Wednesday and from 11 a.m. until service on Thursday. Services will be conducted by Brother Greg Moser and Brother Danny Sellars. Interment will follow in the Cedar Grove Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as active pallbearers. Survivors include children: Roger (Melanie) Knight and Phillis (Jim) Zimmerman; sister Polly Jordan; 13 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren and 17 great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by husband Miles Clifford Knight, daughter Shirley Willis, son Melvin Knight and numerous brothers and sisters. LEBANON -- A Celebration of Life will held 12 Noon Saturday, December 19 at the Market Street Church of Christ Lebanon for Mr. Freddie Paul White, 81, of Lebanon. A decorated veteran of the U.S. Army and an ordained Elder of the Market Street Church of Christ, Mr. White died Dec. 12, 2009. Mr. White earned the Bronze Star Combat Infantry Badge in the Korean War, Korean Service Metal and the United Nations Service Medal. He was retired from Ford Glass Plant after 32 years. Mr. White served on the board of directors for the Wilson County Civic League and was a member of the Lebanon Planning Commission. Visitation will be Friday at Disyal Funeral Home, 400 E. Market Street, between the hours of 12 Noon and 7 p.m. and Saturday from 11 a.m. at the church until the service. Interment with military honors will follow at Mt. Lebanon Memorial Gardens. Survivors include: his wife of 54 years Catherine White and sons Dr. Gregory “Greg” Paul (Patricia) White of Chattanooga, Timothy Orlando White and Winston Fitzgerald White – both of Lebanon. Also surviving are grandchildren Orlando Steverson, Gregory Paul White II, Olivia White, Jessica White and Freddie P. White II; great grandchildren: Jakiya Steverson, and Omaria Steverson. Brother, Perry O’Neal (Bernice) White of Lebanon; sisters Lucille (Fred) McKinley and Jimmy Dean White-Hill -- both of Nashville; brothers-in-law Jean (Margaret) Stafford, Donald Stafford, Arnold Stafford, Robert (Gwen) Stafford, Charles Stafford and Robert Williams, sisters-in-law, Margaret and Emma Jean Stafford. He was preceded in death by his parents Magellan and Willie Neal White, siblings Alfred and Lonale White, Mary Helen Williams, Madora Haynie and Lenora Bethea.
