Robert Cecil Horne, 68 PDF Print E-mail

LEBANON -- Funeral services were held Monday afternoon, September 28 at the Sellars Funeral Home on the Baddour Parkway for Mr. Horne, 68, of Lebanon. The son of the late Robert C. and Nellie Ward Horne, he passed away Friday, Sept. 25, 2009.

The chapel service was conducted by Brother Danny Sellars and Brother Clifford Spence. Interment followed in Wilson County Memorial Gardens.

Survivors include sons: Tony Horne, Darrell (Kathy) Brewington and Tommy Brewington; grandchildren Ashley Brewington, Whitney Horne, Zach Horne, Logan Horne and Dottie Connor; and great-grandchildren Kayde Brewington, Bailey Crowder, Delaney Crowder and Jimmy Connor.

Family and friends served as pallbearers. In addition to his parents, Mr. Horne is preceded in death by his wife Vallie Horne and brother Bennie Horne.

Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon, was in charge of arrangements.

MILLERSVILLE -- Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon, September 27 at the Global Revival Center in Millersville for Mrs. Panozzo, 61, of the Robertson County community of Cross Plains. The daughter of the late Carl and Hazel Kelley, she died Sept. 24, 2009.

Services were conducted by Pastor Johann McGregor. Interment followed at Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens.

Survivors include children Rose (Danny) Vander-westhuizen, Tracy (Keith) Beadle, Angeline Panozzo, Bobby (Kate) Bruton, John Bruton, Armondo (Sarah) Panozzo and Peter (Stacey) Panozzo, Jr.

Also surviving are brothers Val (Betty) Kelley, Carl (Mary) Kelley and V.L. (Lucy) Kelley; sisters Carlene (Clyde) Hessel, Cindy (Steve) Batie, Margie (Mike) Kelley-Johnson Hearn and Dody Belcher; grandchildren Bailey Bruton, Connor Bruton, Peter Panozzo, III, Gabriel Panozzo, Caleb Panozzo, Ava Panozzo and Ethan Vanderwesthuizen; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband Peter Panozzo.

LEBANON -- Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon, September 26 at the JC Hellum Funeral Home for Mr. Wharton, 77, of Lebanon. Born July 8, 1932, he died Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2009 at his residence.

Services were conducted by Brother Robert H. McFarland. Interment followed in the Gladeville Cemetery.

Survivors include: wife, Annie K. Wharton and children Russell (Felecia) Wharton, Annette (Don) Bennett, Mechelle (Quentin) Thompson, James (Tony) and DeWayne (Irene) Martin.

Also surviving are 10 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; brothers Grady (Mary) Wharton and Dallas Wharton; sisters Marthalyne (Jerry) Gentry, Anita Young, Barbara (Virgel) Allen; aunts Gladup Corder and Susie Ashworth; along with many other relatives and friends.

JC Hellum Funeral Home, 107 Stokes Street, was in charge of arrangements.

WATERTOWN -- Graveside funeral services were held Sunday afternoon, September 27 at the Jones Hill Cemetery for Ms. Adamson, 66, of Watertown. A former garment factory employee, she died Sept. 25, 2009 at NHC Healthcare in Smithville.

She was the daughter of the late Robert and Candie Williams Adamson and a member of the Round Lick Baptist Church. Services were conducted by the Rev. Steve Mayes.

Survivors include: sisters Margaret Adamson and Virginia Adamson -- both of Watertown and Joyce Randolp of California.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by sister Dorothy Jean McIntyre. Friends and family members served as pallbearers.

Harold H. Cunningham, 86 PDF Print E-mail

WATERTOWN – Funeral services have been scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday, September 26 at the Hunter Funeral Home for Mr. Cunningham, 86, of the Norene Community. A native of Wilson County and a longtime farmer, he died Sept. 23, 2009 at his residence.

Mr. Cunningham was a deacon at the Geenvale Baptist Church and a veteran – having served in the US Army during World War II.

The family will receive friends Friday between the hours of 2-8:30 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. until the funeral.

Services will be conducted by his nephew Rev. Elwin S. Cunningham of Little Rock, AK. Burial will follow at the Fairview Cemetery in Norene.

Survivors include: daughters Ruth (Lanny) Correll and Helen (Terry) McPeak and grandsons Justin, Luke and Travis McPeak – all of Norene. Also surviving is sister-in-law Lucy R. Stoner and brother-in-law George Givens as well as several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by parents Massey and Hairsie Ashworth Cunningham; wife Carmine Wilson Cunningham; siblings Hezron and Harvel Cunningham, Hazel Porterfield, Hassell Porterfield and Hallie Edwards.

The family thanks the caregivers of Alive Hospice for their kindness and love.

Pallbearers: Justin McPeak, Luke McPeak, Travis McPeak, Dorris Cunningham, Jimmy Porterfield, Leland Cunningham, Joey Barrett, Louis Barrett and Bob Wilson.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Fiddler’s Grove Foundation, P.O. Box 1203, Lebanon 37088-1203. Hunter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
