LEBANON – Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon, October 6 Tuesday at the Church of God Worship Center, 1007 Hartsville Pike, for Mrs. Flatt, 62, of Lebanon.

A native of Wilson County and the daughter of the late James Rhea Cox and Mary Frances Murray Cox, she died Saturday, Oct. 3, 2009 at the University Medical Center.

Mrs. Flatt was employed by Texas Boot for many years and later worked at Metokote Corp. She was a member of the Church of God Worship Center where she taught Sunday School and sang in the choir. 

Services were conducted by the Rev. Gordon Lee. Burial followed at Wilson County Memorial Gardens. Survivors include: husband Dillard Flatt; sister Jamie (Lanny) Linnear of Gainesboro and brother Ronnie (Susie) Cox of Alexandria.  She was proceeded in death by brother Eddie Cox.

Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

MT. JULIET – Funeral services were held Monday morning, October 5 at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet for Mr. Worrell, 48, of LaVergne. He passed away Saturday, October 3, 2009.

Services were conducted by Brother Danny Sellars. Interment followed at Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens.

Survivors include: wife Tonya Warren Worrell; sons Austin Worrell and Kyle Worrell; brother Horace Worrell and sister Margaret Kebhardt.

Mr. Worrell was preceded in death by parents Felix Worrell and Rebecca Burnett Worrell.

Pallbearers included: Austin Worrell, Kyle Worrell, Richie Sawyer, Jim Reister, Chris Carter and Bill Kannady

LEBANON -- Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon, September 29 at the Partlow Funeral Chapel for Mrs. Douglas, 79, of Lebanon. A homemaker and a member of The Sanctuary United Pentecostal Church, Mrs. Douglas passed away Sunday, September 27, 2009 at the University Medical Center.

Services were conducted by Pastor Daniel Stirnemann. Burial followed at the Roselawn Cemetery in Murfreesboro.

Survivors include: Stormy (Johnny) Vaden of Hartsville, Penny Russell of Manchester, Annette (Rocky) Roach of Illinois, Tina Smith of California, Butch (Cindy) Smith of Illinois and Greg (Sue) Smith of Arkansas. Also surviving are sisters Ruby Ashford of Murfreesboro and Dean Brown of Fayetteville along with 15 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by husband Carroll T. Smith and granddaughter Michelle Dawn Holt.

Active pallbearers included: Butch and Greg Smith, Rocky Roach, Charles Hunt, Troy Thorne and Lee Vaden. Honorary pallbearers were the congregation of Mrs. Douglas’ church.  Memorial contributions may be made to The Sanctuary United Pentecostal Church.

Lebanon’s Partlow Funeral Chapel was in charge of arrangements.

LEBANON -- Funeral services were held Monday afternoon, September 28 at the Sellars Funeral Home on the Baddour Parkway for Mr. Horne, 68, of Lebanon. The son of the late Robert C. and Nellie Ward Horne, he passed away Friday, Sept. 25, 2009.

The chapel service was conducted by Brother Danny Sellars and Brother Clifford Spence. Interment followed in Wilson County Memorial Gardens.

Survivors include sons: Tony Horne, Darrell (Kathy) Brewington and Tommy Brewington; grandchildren Ashley Brewington, Whitney Horne, Zach Horne, Logan Horne and Dottie Connor; and great-grandchildren Kayde Brewington, Bailey Crowder, Delaney Crowder and Jimmy Connor.

Family and friends served as pallbearers. In addition to his parents, Mr. Horne is preceded in death by his wife Vallie Horne and brother Bennie Horne.

Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon, was in charge of arrangements.

MILLERSVILLE -- Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon, September 27 at the Global Revival Center in Millersville for Mrs. Panozzo, 61, of the Robertson County community of Cross Plains. The daughter of the late Carl and Hazel Kelley, she died Sept. 24, 2009.

Services were conducted by Pastor Johann McGregor. Interment followed at Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens.

Survivors include children Rose (Danny) Vander-westhuizen, Tracy (Keith) Beadle, Angeline Panozzo, Bobby (Kate) Bruton, John Bruton, Armondo (Sarah) Panozzo and Peter (Stacey) Panozzo, Jr.

Also surviving are brothers Val (Betty) Kelley, Carl (Mary) Kelley and V.L. (Lucy) Kelley; sisters Carlene (Clyde) Hessel, Cindy (Steve) Batie, Margie (Mike) Kelley-Johnson Hearn and Dody Belcher; grandchildren Bailey Bruton, Connor Bruton, Peter Panozzo, III, Gabriel Panozzo, Caleb Panozzo, Ava Panozzo and Ethan Vanderwesthuizen; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband Peter Panozzo.
