LEBANON – Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon, October 13 at the Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home for Mrs. Morrow, 95, of Lebanon. Born July 5, 1914, in Hopewell, Mississippi to the late Henry Lee and Florence Murray Chandler, Mrs. Morrow died Oct. 29, 2009 at Cedars Health Care, Lebanon. A registered nurse at St. Dominic’s Hospital in Jackson, MS for many years, she was a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church and formerly a member of the Walker Baptist Church in Franklin. Services were conducted by Rev. Mitchell Carnes. Interment is scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 14 at the Williamson Memorial Gardens in Franklin. Survivors include son Rev. David (Amy) Morrow of Hendersonville; grandchildren Jennifer (Kyle) Freedman of League City, TX; Heather (Micah) Watson of Stafford, VA; and Stacy (Ben) Frey of Nashville; great grandchildren Coleman, Gabriel, Henry and Millicent Watson, Kyndall, Kaiden, Kelby and Keane Freedman, Cooper and Hudson Frey; as well as sister, Naomi Humber of Huey Town, AL. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Alfred David "Dave" Morrow; daughter Teresa Ann Morrow; sister Mary Louise Boyd; and brothers Ernest, Melvin and Andrew Chandler. OAK RIDGE — Mrs. Annie Renfro passed away Saturday, October 10, 2009 at age 76. The family will be receiving friends at Woodland Park Baptist Church (228 Manhattan Ave, Oak Ridge) from 5 p.m. until service on Friday. A memorial service is planned at the church for 7 p.m. Friday, October 16. Survivors include children: Gary (Terri) Renfro of Lebanon and Teresa Lynn Coleman of Smyrna; sisters Bonnie Higgins, Eloise Williams and Jean Hilliard; grandchildren: Lacey Renfro, Alex Renfro, Angela Cross, and Dustin Mann; great-grandchild: Trey Cross; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by parents Audrey and Lillian Blankenship Burleson, and husband Ralph Renfro. Sellars Funeral Home, 313 West Baddour Pkwy, Lebanon, was in charge of local arrangements. |

LEBANON — Bill Bly passed away on October 9, 2009 at age 72. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Survivors include his wife of 40 years Reba Bly of Lebanon; children Mitzi (Darrell) McElhiney and Bruce Bly. Also surviving are siblings: Jackie (Linda) Bly and Minnie Thomason; grandchildren Aubrey, Zack and Aaliyah McElhiney; and special friend: Jill. LEBANON – Funeral services were held Monday afternoon, October 12 at the Sellars Funeral Home on the Baddour Parkway for Mr. Moss, 78. He died Oct. 9, 2009. Services were conducted by Brother Danny Sellars and Brother Jackie Lackey. Interment followed in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Survivors include son Eddie (Jacquelin) Gulley; sisters Olene Moss Smith, Elise (Jewell) Winfree, Irene Gulley and Lorene (Jim) Strasser; brother Boyd Moss; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by parents Herman and Baird Ogle Moss, brothers Herman Jr., Leroy, Arkle and Edward Moss. Family and friends served as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers included: Bobby Moss, George Luck, Tom Kennedy, Charles Randall Moss, Jackie Lackey and Darren Wilmuth. Sellars Funeral Home, 313 W. LEBANON – Funeral services have been scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 14 at the Immanuel Baptist Church for Mr. Denny, 57, of Lebanon. A Certified Public Accountant and owner of Denny & Denny CPAs in Lebanon, died Oct. 9, 2009 after a brief illness. Born Oct. 22, 1951, to the late Charles W. and Carmene Cassetty Denny, he was a lifelong resident of Lebanon. Mr. Denny was a member of the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Society of Certified Public Accountants. He was a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University, where he was a charter member of the Eta Nu Chapter of Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity. He also served as lifetime Treasurer of the Alpha Tau Omega Eta Nu Alumni Association. An avid water-skier, Mr. Denny was the State Water Ski Association tournament champion, and had been inducted into the State Water Ski Association Hall of Fame. He was also a past competitor in the National Water Ski Tournament, and a frequent Chief Judge in many water-ski tournaments. Mr. Denny was a member of West Haven Baptist Church, where he served as Treasurer, and the Lebanon Lions Club for which he served as Assistant Treasurer and Vice President. He had also served as Treasurer of the Lebanon Lions Club Babe Ruth League for 20 years. The family will be receiving friends Tuesday, between the hours of 4-8 p.m. at the Sellars Funeral Home, 313 West Baddour Parkway and Wednesday from 1 p.m. until the service at Immanuel Baptist Church. Burial will be at the Wilson County Memorial Gardens. Survivors include his wife of 34 years Pamela Jones Denny, daughter Stephanie Denny Broadrick, son-in-law Daniel Broadrick, sister Gloria Denny — all of Lebanon, and mother-in-law Mrs. Vestel Jones of Oak Ridge. Active pallbearers: Tony Taylor, Jeff Brown, Jack Bell, Thomas L. Cassetty, Terry Spain and Tom Boyd. Honorary pallbearers: the Brothers and Alumni of Alpha Tau Omega.
