SMYRNA -- Funeral Services will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, October 10 at Woodfin Memorial Chapel in Smyrna for Mrs. Schaub, 64, of Murfreesboro.

A Wilson County native and a 1962 graduate of Watertown High School, she died Thursday, Oct. 8, 2009 at her home. Mrs. Schaub was the daughter of the late Homer and Easter Lemons Baker.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Services will be conducted by Rev. Jim Hargrove. Burial will be in Brush Creek Cemetery.

Survivors include: children Billy (Judy) Schaub and Marlana (Mike) Edwards — all of Murfreesboro and Maria (Thomas) Treadway of Bradyville. Also surviving are brothers Larry (Sandy) Baker of Ashville N.C. and Clifton (Frances) Baker of Lebanon along with seven grandchildren.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by husband William H. Schaub who died in 1995, brother Jimmy Baker and sister Kay Baker.

Wilson County native San Roberts Norton, 74, passed away October 7, 2009 in Rabun Gap, GA after a battle with cancer. She was born Grace Ann Roberts in Lebanon on March 2, 1935 to William C. and Claudine Seagraves.

In 1977 she moved her family to the campus of Rabun Gap Nacoochee School where she worked and raised her children. San served as an elder in the Presbyterian Church, served with distinction as Clerk of Session of Rabun Gap Presbyterian Church more than a decade and three pastors, and served in many capacities within the denomination, and as a member of Northeast Georgia Presbytery Committee on Ministry.

A memorial service is planned Saturday, Oct. 10 at 2 p.m. at Rabun Gap Presbyterian Church with Rev. Don Barber officiating.

She is survived by her children David (Kitty) Norton of Cumming, GA; Steve (Susan) Norton of Conyers, GA; Leith (Mark) McDonough, Richard and Laura Vollmer — all of Rabun Gap; seven grandchildren; nephew Jon Roberts of Knoxville and sister Claudine Roberts of Franklin, NC.

LEBANON -- Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Friday, October 9 the First United Methodist Church for Mrs. Mason, 98, of Lebanon. A retired teacher (33 years) and a member of the First United Methodist Church, she died Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2009 in the Quality Health Care Center.

Mrs. Mason will lie in state at the church from 9 a.m. until the service at the church. Dr. Martin Thielen and Eddie Callis will conduct the services. Interment will follow at Wilson County Memorial Gardens.

Survivors include: son Bill (Pam) Mason and daughter Helen Mason; grandchildren Elizabeth (Shane) Bazzell, Lindsey (Rich) Craycroft, Rob (Shanae) Mason, Julie (Jared) Watkins, Laura (Brian) Brown; great grandchildren Allison Bazzell, Zoie Mason, Belinda Mason, Jared Watkins, Hayden and Benjamin Craycroff; nephew Jim (Betty) Mason; great niece Katherine (Rob) Barnes and great great niece Claire Barnes; great nephew Andy (Tara) Mason.

She is preceded in death by parents, Rob & Carrie Simpson Roy; husband, Robert D. Mason; son, Robert Dee "Bobby" Mason Jr.

Active pallbearers: David Tomlinson, Larry Stephens, Ray Perrin, Eddie Callis, Jimmie Harper, David Harrison, Chuck Craig and Tony DeMatteo. Honorary: Virginia Newsom, J.O.Y. Sunday School Class, The Ruth Circle and Mrs. Mason’s "Bridge" friends.

MT. JULIET -- Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday, October 9 at Bond Memorial Chapel for Mr. Willingham, 50, of Mt. Juliet.

A 1977 graduate of Mt. Juliet High School and a graduate of Nashville Tech, "Jai" died Tuesday, October 6, 2009. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Mt. Juliet and was a truck driver.

Visitation will be one hour prior to service time Friday at Bond Memorial Chapel Services will be conducted by Rev. Greg Bell.

Survivors include sons Brennan and Ethan Willingham; father and best friend Jerry Willingham; sisters Jerri Lynn Frazier and Susan Ledbetter; nephews London Frazier and Bradley Ledbetter and niece Brandy Resnick.

He is preceded in death by his mother Ollie Stuart Willingham and brother Jeffrey Stuart Willingham.

Honorary pallbearers: Tom Page, Greg Bell, Phillip Crowder, Johnny Adams, Mike Gray and Mark Gray.  A memorial trust fund has been established for Brennan and Ethan c/o Susan Ledbetter at Regions Bank.

LEBANON — Funeral services have been scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday, October 10 at the Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home for Mr. Moore, 82, of Lebanon.

Born February 22, 1927, in Smith County, to the late George Weaver and Lula Mai Thompson Moore, he died Monday, Sept. 28, 2009, at the University Medical Center.

A US Navy veteran of World War II, he graduated from Cumberland University and received his Masters Degree from George Peabody College. Mr. Moore taught history and world geography at Tennessee Preparatory School in Nashville for 28 years. 

Visitation is set Friday, October 9 from 3-8 p.m. and Saturday from 12 Noon until the services at Ligon & Bobo. Services will be conducted by Rev. Don McElroy. Interment will follow at the Wilson County Memorial Gardens. 

Survivors include: his wife, whom he married December 21, 1952, Madelyn Martin Moore; and children James H. (Cynthia) Moore of Columbia, Col. Stephen D. (Toni) Moore of Southlake, TX; Martin T. (Helen) Moore of Erin, Georganne (John) W. Smith, David H. Moore and Randall A. Moore — all of Nashville and Scott W. Moore of Atlanta, GA. Also surviving is sister Irene Thompson of Lebanon and seven grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother Cmdr. James Edward Moore of Chesapeake, Virginia.
