LEBANON -- Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon, August 30 at the Sellars Funeral Home on the Baddour Parkway for Mr. Sanders, 36, of Lebanon. Mr. Sanders passed away August 26, 2009. Services were conducted by Brother Glenn Denton. Interment followed in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Survivors include wife Bethany Sanders of Lebanon; children Devon Sanders, Megan Sanders, Nathan Sanders, Tabitha Sanders, Drake Sanders and Ashley Johnson; parents David and Sonya Potts Sanders; sister Gina (Thomas) Baird; brother Tim (Anita) Sanders; grandmother Betty Potts; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. Pallbearers: Adam Lane, Mike Lane, David Sanders, Timmy Sanders, Thomas Baird, Donnie McMurtery, Edward Walker and Daniel Eldridge. Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon, was in charge of arrangements. |

WATERTOWN -- Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon, August 30 at the Hunter Funeral Home for Mrs. Barnes, 47, of Murfreesboro. Born in Lebanon and a homemaker, she died Aug. 28, 2009 at the Middle Tennessee Medical Center in Murfreesboro. Services were conducted by Rev. Don Mathis with burial at the Jennings Cemetery. Survivors include: husband Garland D. Barnes of Norene and children Wayne Barnes of Shelbyville and Crystal (Mike) Fortune of Murfreesboro and granddaughter Jennifer Ann Fortune. Also surviving is mother Mary (Lawrence) Phillips of Shelbyville, step-mother Mary Kate Finley of Manchester, siblings Ricky Finley of Lebanon and Debbie Finley of Liberty along with several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. She is preceded in death by father Franklin Terry Finley, infant sister Kathy Lynn Finley, grandparents Jessie and Arnold Finley; Maude and Robert Barrett. Family and friends served as pallbearers. Hunter Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. |

LEBANON – Funeral services have been scheduled for 1 p.m. Friday, August 28 at the Partlow Funeral Chapel for Mr. Jackson, 79, of Lebanon. The son of the late Robert Mason & Estelle Gass Jackson, he died Wednesday August 26, 2009 at the University Medical Center. Mr. Jackson was a member of Adams Avenue Church of Christ where he served as an elder. A former employee of Wilson County Motors and Toshiba America, Mr. Jackson had served as a preacher for the congregations of Alexandria and Beckwith Churches of Christ. Visitation Friday from 11 a.m. until funeral services at the Partlow Funeral Chapel. Services will be conducted by Bro. Bob Knox, Bro. William Hayes, Bro. Jim Byrd and Bro. Garland Wilson. Interment will follow at Wilson County Memorial Gardens. Survivors include: his wife of 54 years Willie Jane Sampson Jackson; daughter Jana Dell Jackson; sister Carolyn (Thurman) Manners; brother Shelah(Bess) Thompson; along with numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mr. Jackson is preceded in death by daughter Eugenia Lynn Jackson. Active pallbearers will include: David Collier, Daryl Brown, Clark Sampson, Daniel Sampson, Randy Sampson, Kyle Wright, Terry Pritchett and Seth Pritchett. Honorary pallbearers: the men of Adams Avenue Church of Christ. Partlow Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements. |

GLADEVILLE – Funeral service were conducted Thursday afternoon, August 27 at the Gladeville United Methodist Church for Mrs. Beckwith. A former resident of the Gladeville Community, she passed away Aug. 24, 2009 at NHC Nursing Home in Smithville. Mrs. Beckwith was a member of the Gladeville United Methodist Church, a lifetime member of Tennessee Art League, a lifetime member of Metro Davidson County Parent Teachers Association, a member of Wilson County Home Demonstration Club and a member of the Golden Circle at Gladeville Methodist Church. Services were conducted by Rev. Charles Walker and Rev. Royce Martin. Interment was in DeKalb Memorial Gardens, Smithville. Survivors include: daughter Peggy (Ronald) Huffstetler; son Ted (Beverly) Beckwith, Jr. ; siblings Robert L. Eller and Barbara Jean Lawson, four grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by parents Bob and Gracie Eller and loving husband Ted Beckwith, Sr. The family requests that memorials be made to the Gladeville United Methodist Church Building fund: 8770 Stewarts Ferry Pike, Gladeville 37071. Family Heritage Funeral Home in Gallatin was in charge of arrangements. |

MT. JULIET – Funeral services were conducted Thursday morning, August 27 at Bond Memorial Chapel for Mr. Mosier, 58, of Hermitage. Known as "Pat" to his family and friends, he died Monday, Aug. 24, 2009. Services were conducted by Dr. Paul Casner. Interment followed at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Survivors include: sons Eric (Chelli) Mosier and Adam Mosier — both of Hermitage; mother Ruby Griffith Mosier and sister Mitzi (Tim) Osborne – all of Donelson. Also surviving is grandchild Destiny Mosier, nephews Paul and Neal Osborne along with cousins Paulette Hansen and Sidney Spencer Osborne. Family and friends served as pallbearers. He was preceded in death by his father, William Lewis Mosier, Sr. The family would like to acknowledge Pat’s legacy as one of the one million survivors of Polio in America. Many survivors experience Post Polio Syndrome and the medical complications associated with Polio years later.
