MT. JULIET – Funeral services were conducted Thursday evening, August 6 at Bond Memorial Chapel for Mr. Wieme, 51, of Mt. Juliet. He died Monday, August 3, 2009.

Services were conducted by Steve Burk and Chris Marzzak. 

Survivors include: wife Cindy Wieme and sons Alan Wieme and Corbin Wieme – all of Mt. Juliet.

Also surviving: mother June Hofmann of San Marcos, CA: father Al Wieme of Marietta, CA; and brothers Alan Wieme of Dallas, TX and Dan Wieme of San Marcos, CA.

Memorial donations may be made to Rutland Elementary School, 1995 South Rutland Road, Mt. Juliet, 37122.

Memorial Chapel, N. Mt. Juliet Road and Weston Drive, was in charge of arrangements.

WATERTOWN – Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon, August 6 at the Hunter Funeral Home for Mr. Ellis, 82, of Watertown.

Born Dec. 15, 1925 in DeKalb County to the late Robert and Annie Myrtle Yates Ellis, he died Aug. 4, 2009 at Lebanon Health and Rehab.

Retired from Precision Rubber Company and a former US Army Paratrooper, Mr. Ellis was a 32nd Degree Mason and a member of Comer Lodge No. 417 Free & Accepted Masons.

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. David Hesson with burial at Wilson County Memorial Park.

Survivors include: wife Flora Shorter Ellis of Watertown; sister Louise (L.C.) Vandergriff of Watertown; sister-in-law Effie Lee Ellis of Smithville; nieces Pam Cain of Bradyville and Alana Atherton of Lebanon along with several cousins and special friends Jerry and Linda Stephens of Watertown.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Ellis is preceded in death by brother Glen Ellis.

Active pallbearers include: Gene Vandergriff, Ron Cain, Jerry Stephens, Jimbo Robertson, Donald Oakley and J.W. Shorter.

Hunter Funeral Home, Watertown, was in charge of arrangements.

MT. JULIET -- Funeral services will be conducted 10:30 a.m. Thursday August 6 at Bond Memorial Chapel form Mr. Jones, 75, of Mt. Juliet. A member of Victory Baptist Church and the Eagle Lodge, he died Monday, August 3, 2009. He was the son of the late Charlie and Nanny Jones.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at Bond Memorial Chapel, N. Mt. Juliet Road and Weston Drive. Services will be conducted by Brother Chuck Groover and Brother Joe Coleman officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens.

Survivors include: wife Louise Kolbe Jones of Mt. Juliet and children: Andrew (Cheryl) Jones of Watertown, Randy (Karen) Jones of Hartsville, Charles (Judy) Jones of Jolten and Christie Jones of Old Hickory.

Also surviving are siblings: Tom Jones, Bunkie Jones, Mildred (Bob) Agee and Jo Anne Maxey -- all of Mt. Juliet; grandchildren Kelly, Amanda, Abby, Audra and Jennifer; great grandchildren Alyson, Kolbe, Landon, Alex, Weston, Andrew and Anna Belle along with extended family Jordan Jones.

Active pallbearers will include: Andrew Jones, Randy Jones, Charles Jones, Jack Kolbe, Bob Agee and Billy Jones. Honorary pallbearers: Zach Walling, Bernie Bach, Jason Alcorn, Richard Gray, James Flemming, Gene Green, and the men of Music City Winni’s Camping.

Bond Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

MT. JULIET — Funeral services were conducted Wednesday morning, August 5 at Bond Memorial Chapel for Mrs. Wright, 94, of Nashville. A member of Phillipi Church of Christ and the widow of the late Ted Wright, she died Sunday, Aug. 2, 2009.

Services were conducted by Brother Dan Dozier with interment following at Hermitage Memorial Gardens.

Survivors include: children Dorothy (Tony) Elkins of Nashville, Frieda (Raybon) Smith of Lebanon and Milo (Deborah) Wright of Hermitage. Also surviving are sisters Daisy, Nancy and Katie; 13 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren and four great, great grandchildren.

Great grandchildren served as active pallbearers. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Wright is preceded in death by son Milton and his wife Mary Wright; daughter Burma Wright; four brothers and three sisters.

MT. JULIET — Mrs. Birdie Vaughn Tramel age 82 of Mt. Juliet, passed away Sunday, August 2, 2009, at Summit Medical Center. She was born April 16, 1927 in Wilson County, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Leonard Thomas Vaughn and Thelma Everette Vaughn.

Mrs. Tramel was a homemaker and a member of Silver Springs Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Henry Tramel; brothers, W.T. and Richard Vaughn.

She is survived by her daughter, Shirley Fay Tramel of Mt. Juliet; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were conducted Tuesday afternoon, August 4 at the Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home, Lebanon, with Bro. Russ Stephens officiating. Interment was at the Conatser Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Silver Springs Baptist Church, 9938 Lebanon Road, Mt. Juliet, 37122.

Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
