LEBANON – Funeral services have been scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, August 8 at the Cornerstone Baptist Church for Mrs. Myres, 87, formerly of Lebanon. Retired from Clover Bottom Development Center where she worked as a nurses’ aid, Mrs. Myres died Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2009 at her Millersville residence A native of Wilson County, she was born April 29, 1922 to the later Will and Corrie Virginia Watson Bingham. Mrs. Myres was a member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church. The family will receive friends Friday between the hours of 4-8 p.m. at the Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home and Saturday from 9 a.m. until the service at the church. Services will be conducted by Brother Bob Curtis. Interment at the Wilson County Memorial Gardens. Survivors include: son Donald (Fay) Sager of Millersville and grandson Tom Sager of Dallas, TX. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Myres is preceded in death by husband Jim Myres; grandson Brad Sager; siblings Mildred Cripps, Sophia Mosley, Grace Brown, Corrie Corley and Houston Bingham. Pallbearers: Raymond Lane Jr., Greg Hibdon, Larry Carter, Roy Martin, Tom Sager and Anthoy Hopkins. Honorary: J.S. Brown, Johnny Cripps, Jim and Jerry Brownlee. LEBANON – Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, August 8 at the Partlow Funeral Chapel for Mrs. Yahola, 81, of Lebanon. A homemaker and a member of the Church of God, Mrs. Yahola died Wednesday, August 5, 2009 at University Medical Center. The family will receive friends Friday, August between the hours of 4 – 8 p.m. and Saturday from 11 a.m. until the funeral. Services will be conducted by Brother Gordon Lee. Burial will follow at the Cedar Grove Cemetery. Survivors include: children Daniel A. "Tony" (Rebecca) Yahola, Vivian Mann; Cindy Yahola and Kristy (Mike) Adams. Also surviving are brothers Ed (Jean) Brewington, Bud (Betty Sue) Brewington and Jimmy Lowe Brewington; grandchildren Kachina and Kearston Yahola, Leigha Mouse, Aspen Gallegos, Chebon Shayen, Jeff Ashley, Cherie Reynolds, Amy Powell and John Watkins; six great grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Yahola is preceded in death by parents Hubert and Christine Brewington; husband Don Yahola and daughter Sue Watkins. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. NASHVILLE — Funeral services have been set for 10 a.m. Saturday, August 8 at the Spring Hill Funeral Home, 5110 Gallatin Road, for Mrs. Burrows, 94, of Mt. Juliet. She passed away Monday, August 3, 2009. The family will receive friends on Friday, August 7, 2009 from 5 to 8 p.m. Services will be conducted by Chaplain Paul Gunn. Interment will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery. Survivors include: daughters Barbara Ruth (Charles) Stephens of Plantation, FL and Betty Jean Taylor of Mt. Juliet; grandchildren Michael Hollis (Donna) Morgan, James H. (Elisa) Martin, Ray W. (Susan) Martin, Lisa Sarah Arnold, Lee Ease (Heather) Martin, Michelle S. (Rodney) Brown, Bonnie Gale Taylor, Benny Ray (Connie) Taylor, Marty Hue (Angela) Taylor, Adam Maxwell Taylor, Laney Taylor (Len) Efferson, Tracy Taylor, Robert Samuel (Laura) Barnes, George Barnes, Casey Taylor, William Daniel (Kristy) Barnes; 28 great-grandchildren and 16 great-great-grandchildren. LEBANON – Funeral services have been scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday, August 8 at the J.C. Hellum Funeral Home for Mr. Allen, 81, of Lebanon. Born June 21, 1928, Mr. Allen died August 2, 2009 at Pavilion CPC. Family visitation will be held Saturday from 12 Noon - 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Services will be conducted by the Rev. Andray Clemons, eulogist. Burial will follow at the Wilson County Memorial Gardens. Survivors include children Dorothy (Verlon) Bates, Jimmy Lee Allen and James Ray (Geraldine) Allen. Also surviving are siblings Georgia Mai Donnell and Robert Lee Starks as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. J.C. MT. JULIET – Funeral services will be conducted 10 a.m. Friday August 7 at the Bond Memorial Chapel for Mr. Benson, 70, of Mt. Juliet. A member of the First Baptist Church of Mt. Juliet and a veteran of the U.S. Army, Mr. Benson died Wednesday, August 5, 2009. Services will be conducted by Brother Billy Friel. Interment will follow at Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens. Survivors include: children Jimmy (Diane) Case of Dickson, Billy (Sharon) Benson of Old Hickory, Johnny (Chris) Benson of Knoxville, Joey (Kim) Benson and Frances (Randy) Drennen – all of Mt. Juliet. Also surviving are 16 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Marie Benson; parents Frances and John Benson; two brothers and three sisters. Active pallbearers will include James Case, Billy Benson, Johnny Benson, Joey Benson, Kyle Benson and Mark Drennen. Bond Memorial Chapel, N. Mt.
