A small plane en route from Kentucky to Jackson, Tenn. Thursday afternoon landed safely at Lebanon Airport after the pilot reported having mechanical problems.

No one was injured in the incident which was occurred about 1:20 p.m.

“It had some mechanical problems,” said Art Dotson, an engineer with the Lebanon Fire Department. “It made a safe crash landing.”

Dotson said the landing gear came down but failed after the plane landed.
