Prep All-Star Classic set Saturday at Cumberland

Mt. Juliet Christian Academy's Josh Sanders will play for the Division II team as the Class A all-stars take on DII at 10 a.m. Mt. Juliet High's Campbell Scholl will play for the Class AAA all-stars in a 2 p.m. game vs. the Class AA all-stars.


Sandwiched between the two nine-inning games will be a 12:30 p.m. home run derby sponsored by Old Hickory Bats.


The players, nominated by their high school coaches, do not pay a fee to participate in the games. However, admission is $10 per person -- which is good for the entire day -- including the home run derby.


The Tennessean/Old Hickory Bats MidTN Senior Players of the Year winners in four divisions will be announced at conclusion of the games.
