Beth Swartwout started for the Lady Devils and went three and a third before being relieved bu Bethany Anderson. Swartwout paced the LHS offense with two hits, a two-run double and a single. Lebanon slipped to 9-6 with the loss.

MT. JULIET THUMPS GALLATINGALLATIN -- Mt. Juliet banged out 18 hits and Lauren Woodard threw a five-inning two-hitter in Tuesday's 15-0 softball win at Gallatin High. The vistory boosted the Lady Bears to 11-6 on the season and a perfect 2-0 in District 9AAA.

Woodard struck out four with no walks and helped her own cause at the plate with a piar of hits. Ashton Stowe and Emily Bombard had three hits each for the winners.

MJHS is scheduled to host Station Camp Thursday in a 5 p.m. contest.
