I would like to say thank you to Mayor Philip Craighead and to Mr. and Mrs. Bob Black for the recent purchase of the Capitol Theater building.

For so long it has made our town look bad. People that once lived here couldn’t believe the Public Square looked that way when they come to visit. I love Lebanon, we may go away but Lebanon is always home. I’m glad our mayor helped bring this about and I believe Mr. and Mrs. Black can bring it back. A lot of people would like to see this happen. We look forward to seeing this done. Thanks Mayor Craighead and Mr. and Mrs. Black for caring.

Also, thanks to Mr. Juliet’s Rutland Place for the luncheon they served for the Veterans on Veterans Day, Wednesday, Dec. 11.

Doris Martin,Lebanon
