Schools Director Doing Quite Well

Administrators in Central Office are making a team effort to cover Davis’s responsibilities and help his family cope as well.

Hall said when he recently went to see Davis, “He seemed to be in good spirits and I told him we’d keep him informed about how things were going.”

But he added that right now the main thing for Davis, who is in his 50s, is just to take it easy and get well.

Davis came to Wilson County Schools as Director in July 2007 from Scott County Schools.

Since then he has put plans in motion for the new Lebanon High School and is working on renovating Mt Juliet High and Middle Schools.

After the heart attack, Davis was given CPR and shock was administered with an Automatic External Defibrillator to “get his heartbeat back” by Lebanon Police officers. He was then transported to the hospital by Wilson County Emergency Management.
