Seniors invited to attend boomer Christmas event

Seniors from across middle Tennessee are invited to attend Mature Lifestyles Senior Extravaganza on Friday, Dec. 4 on the campus of Cumberland University.

The Dallas Floyd Recreation Center will be the site for the event, sponsored by Middle Tennessee Electric and Wilson Bank and Trust.

This will be the fourth senior celebration put on by MainStreet Media, the parent company that owns Mature Lifestyles and The Wilson Post.

Previous events have been held in Gallatin, Nashville and last year’s premier event in Lebanon.The fun begins at 9 a.m and features live entertainment all day long. Vendors will be on hand with plenty of give-a-ways and informative material dedicated to the senior adult market. The event will run for six hours on that day closing at 3 p.m.

Performances by former Gaylord Entertainment stars Cindy and Randy Moore will highlight the six hour show as they do impersonations of popular country and rock legends.

Door prizes will be given out to those who register and Little Paul’s will be on hand as our food vendor.Senior groups, church groups, clubs and the like are all invited to come out and spend a few hours with Mature Lifestyles on this day.

Renowned eye surgeon, Dr. Ming Wang will be making an appearance Friday afternoon at the event. Dr. Wang will be available to discuss laser eye surgery as well as his mission work to China.Parking is free and admission is free. Cumberland University has been kind enough to block off a special parking area for attendees located at the back of the Dallas Floyd Rec Center.
