Service held for educator Inez Harrison

Mrs. Harrison was a member of First United Methodist Church in Lebanon. She was a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University, receiving her Master's Degree in Education there in 1968. She was a teacher of mathematics at Lebanon High School for 35 years prior to her retirement in 1981.


Services were conducted by Rev. David Hesson and Alice Henley. Burial followed at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Lebanon.


She is survived by her niece, Diane M. (Ed) Gentry of Linn Creek, MO, great nieces, Deanna B.(Jason) Green of Cunning, GA, Kelly Koziol of Eureka, MO and great nephew Aaron(Kathy) Gentry of Huntley, IL.


Active pallbearers: Bob Bucy, Aaron Gentry, Ed Gentry, Jason Green, Jimmy Harrison, Dr. Bob Higgs, Clark Higgs, and Eddie Callis.


Honorary pallbearers: Dr. Hardie Sorrels III, Brownie Vantrease, Larry Squires, Jimmy Jewell, Beth Williams, Martha Ricketts, Bobbie Jean Hunt, Rosie Ward, Wayne Rogers, Phillip Turner, and caregivers; Robbie Thompson, Rose Jones, Jane Morgan, Martha Murray, Barbara Sanders, Martha George, and Betty Owens.


The family suggests that contributions be made to First United Methodist Church in her memory or to a charity of your choice.
