Sherrys Run team captains kick-off meeting set June 22
Lace up your shoes! It's time to get your team organized for Sherry's Run. This year's event is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 11, and promises to be the biggest and best ever. Anyone interested in forming a Team for the Sherry’s Run event is invited to attend the upcoming Sherry's Run Team Captain’s Kick-Off Meeting on June 22 at 6 p.m.The Sherry’s Run Team Captain’s Kick-Off Meeting will be held in the lobby on the main floor at Wilson Bank & Trust, 623 West Main Street in Lebanon. Please enter through the doors on the east side of the building. This is an opportunity for those interested to receive all the tools needed to have a happy and successful team and to distribute packets, answer questions, give fundraising ideas and information on PAINT THE TOWN GREEN! You are asked to RSVP for the Sherry’s Run Team Captain’s Kick-Off Meeting by calling Wendi Warren, Sherry’s Run Team chair, at 400.2032 or e-mail email@example.com. Pizza and drinks will be provided! The 5K Run/Walk is the largest fund raiser of the year for Sherry’s Run. It is held annually the second Saturday in September (close to Sherry’s birthday). The Sherry’s Run Event Site is at 623 West Main Street, Lebanon. The certified course, TN10011MS, offers disposable chip timing (with start and finish mats) provided by Best Times (www.besttimescct.com), Memphis. Mark your calendar and make a commitment to become involved this year. Registration forms are available online or by calling. All participants registered by Aug. 31 will be guaranteed a Sherry’s Run shirt. Prizes to the top overall male and female 5K run finishers and Overall Master (men and women’s winner) first, second, and third place awards for each age group. Sherry’s Run (www.sherrysrun.org) is a 501 (c) (3) organization. It was started in memory of Sharon “Sherry” Patterson Whitaker who died at the age of 44 from colon cancer. Donations are tax deductible and can be made online.
