Sports camps offered locally
Hitting, throwing mechanics and the fundamentals of each position will be emphasized at the new camp. Open to campers age 14-18, the camp will be held from 9 a.m. until 12 Noon. The cost is $85 per camper.
All camp participants will receive one-on-one instruction from Coach Hunt and camp instructors, a camp T-shirt, use of the Bulldogs’ playing field and use of the Benton Jennings Hitting Facility. Each player will also receive video analysis during the camps.

SUMMR HOOPS AT FBC -- A series of summer basketball camps for boys and girls are being offered at Lebanon’s First Baptist Church. The camp will offer various sessions running through Thursday, August 7. Camp opportunites will be offered for children kindergarten age through sixth grade.
All camps will teach basic dribbling, passing and shooting skills with three competitive camps offering 1-on-1 competition. Cost varies from $30 - $40 per camp. In addition, a girls-only, nine-week program is being offered for young ladies entering grades 7, 8 and 9. These campers will practice twice a week and play organized pick-up games once a week.

FREE CAMP AT MARKET STREET -- FREE basketball camps will be held at the Market Street Community Center, 321 Market Street, Lebanon. Boys’ camp: June 30-July 3 from 5-7 p.m. Girls’ camp: July 7-10 from 5-7 p.m. For information: call Kevin Huddleston at 604-3542.
FCS FOOTBALL CAMP -- Friendship Christian School will offer a football camp for boys grades eight and under the week of July 14-18. Camp will be held between the hours of 9-11 a.m. for a cost of $70 per child. For information, call the school office at 449-1573.
CU INDIVIDUAL CAMP -- A maximum of 40 players will be accepted for Cumberland University’s Men’s Basketball Individual Camp June 30 - July 3 at the Dallas Floyd Recreation Center. Cost is $125 per camper (ages 10-15) and includes lunch. Campers will receive extensive fundamental and skill breakdowns from collegiate coaches. BLUE DEVIL BASKETBALL CAMP -- A basketball camp for boys and girls grades K-8 will be held July 8-11 at Lebanon High School. Players in grades K-4 will work from 8-11 a.m. with players in grades 5-8 going from 12 Noon - 3 p.m. Cost is $50 with $10 off for bringing a friend. MJMS HOOPS CAMP -- Mt. Juliet Middle School will hold a girls basketball camp July 7-10, between the hours of 8:30 - 11:30 a.m. at Tommy Martin Gym in the old Mt. Juliet High building. MJMS Head Basketball Coach Rick Johnson will conduct the camp. Each day, former and current Lady Bears will be on hand to assist and instruct in all areas of camp.
Basketball fundamentals will be stressed, and all skill levels will be represented. All girls ages 6-13 are encouraged to attend, regardless of experience. Camp fees are $60 and all campers will receive a camp T-shirt. Applications are available at Mt. Juliet Middle School, area elementary schools, and Sports World in Mt. Juliet.
WWMS BASEBALL CAMP -- The West Wilson Middle School Wildcats Baseball Camp will be held July 18, 19 and 20 at the Mt.
