WATERTOWN -- The Purple Tigers broke a seven game losing streak Tuesday night with a 58-44 victory over visiting Merrol Hyde. Keandre Bates had 18 and Kenny Rowland 11 for Watertown. The Purple Tigers, now 8-9 on the season, will host Gordonsville Friday night. Megan Bryan knocked down four 3-pointers and finished with 18 points as the Tigerettes scored a 61-47 win over Merrol Hyde in Tuesday’s opener. Watertown improved to 9-8 overall / 3-3 in District 8A. Miaushia Thompson added 11 while Morgan Gartner and JoBeth Davenport chipped in with seven each. |
