HENDERSONVILLE WINS 3-0 GLADEVILLE -- Winless Wilson Central battled for 48 minutes -- and then some -- Friday in a heartbreaking 3-0 overtime loss to District 9AAA rival Hendersonville. Richie Reichenberger's 27-yard field goal in overtime allowed the Commandos (4-2 / 2-1) to escape with the win over the Wildcats who fell to 0-7 on the season. Tied 0-0 at the end of regulation, Wilson Central fumbled on its first play of overtime. Hendersonville recovered and promptly kicked the field goal for the victory. The Wildcats will play at Mt. Juliet Thursday in a game to be televised on UPN 30. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. |
