DEVILS FLAT ON SENIOR NIGHT

LEBANON -- Beech dominated Lebanon from the first quarter on and rolled to a 40-7 victory over the Blue Devils -- spoiling Senior Night Thursday at Nokes-Lasater Field.

Beech scored twice in the first quarter and twice in the second to mount a 27-0 lead at intermission and never looked back as the Bucs improved to 6-1 (4-0 in 9AAA) on the season. Beech never punted in the game.

Beech fullback Travis Haymer ran for 105 yards on 10 carries and a pair of touchdowns. Quarterback Jarod Neal completed 7-of-13 passing attempts for 93 yards and three touchdowns.

"Tonight was not a good night," said LHS head coach Bobby Brown, "That comes back to me. I didn't do a good job getting these guys ready. We're going to get back to work next week. We've got to play better than this."

Lebanon (4-4 / 2-3) will be idle next week.
