CU hosts Lyon Thursday PDF Print E-mail

Habitat for Humanity is sponsoring Thursday’s Cumberland University home basketball game against Lyon College, and the organization plans to have halftime competitions of building a LEGO house and a relay race with construction hats, shoes, tool belts, etc. Habitat for Humanity will receive half of Thursday’s gate receipts to go toward community projects.

The women’s game begins at 6 p.m. and the men’s contest follows at 8 p.m. at the Dallas Floyd Recreation Center. Admission is $5 for everyone above the age of 10 and $4 for senior citizens.

Cumberland is scheduled to play four home doubleheaders in the month of February beginning with Thursday’s contests.

SCHEDULE CHANGE -- Cumberland's TranSouth Conference basketball doubleheader at Mid-Continent University scheduled Saturday, Jan. 30 in the Mayfield High School Sports Arena, was postponed.

The games have been rescheduled for Monday, February 22, at Paducah Tilghman High School in Paducah, Kentucky, with the women’s game tipping off at 6 p.m. followed by the men’s game at 8 p.m.
