MT. JULIET -- Mt. Juliet High's 6-5 senior Teraes Clemmons has committed to play basketball at Northwest Florida State College in Fort Walton, FL.

The high-scoring swingman is averaging 22.3 points per game has helped lead the Golden Bears to a record of 22-7 on the season and a berth in the region 5AAA tournament.

Coached by former MTSU head coach Bruce Stewart, Northwest Florida (25-3) is currently ranked No. 5 in the National Junior College Athletic Association and is considered one of the top juco progams in the county.

Now in his 13th season at NWF, Stewart has compiled a record of 313-80, is the winningest coach in school history and was earlier this week named the Panhandle Conference Coach of the Year.
