Wilson Central 8, Lebanon 7 Lebanon (9-8 / 2-2) got a pair of hits from Jessica Lingnau and Tori Brewington while Katie Blackburn ripped a two-run triple. LHS is scheduled to host Gordonsville Thursday in a 5 p.m. game at Baird Park. Watertown sweeps Antioch Watertown took the opener 14-0 in two and a-half innings, pounding out 15 hits. Jamie Reed picked up the pitching decision, striking out five and allowing just one hit. She also drove in five runs with a three hits, two doubles and a a single. Catcher Hannah Reeder was a perfect 3-for-3 while Jordan Brewington had two hits and scored twice. The nightcap found Watertown winning 5-1 as Reed went four innings for the win. She allowed just four hits and struck out nine. Megan Bryan drove in two runs with a single and a double while reed added two hits. Watertown will host a doubleheader Monday, April 12 at Three Forks Park, playing Friendship Christian at 4 p.m. and Clay County at 6 p.m. FCS 9, Gordonsville 6 The win boosted the Lady Commander record to 5-8 overall as Kaity Woodall led the FCS hit parade with a perfect 4-for-4. Hunter Holland and Brooke Klinefelter combind on the nine-hitter as Holland got the win, Klinefelter the save. FCS is scheduled to host Red Boiling Springs Thursday at 5 p.m. MJCA 4, St. Cecilia 3 Emily Threadgill scattered a four hits and struck out six to pick up the win. Leanna Sanders had a single and a double for the winners. MJCA is scheduled to host Nashville Glencliff Thursday in a 3:30 p.m. contest. |
