WILSON CENTRAL HOSTS LHS
Lebanon High gets a chance at redemption tonight as the Blue Devil baseball team travels to Gladeville for a 7 p.m. game against Wilson Central.

The Wildcats pounded Lebanon 12-0 in five innings Tuesday night at Veterans Field as righthander Zach Phillips tossed a one-hitter, striking out nine.

Cain Sloan managed Lebanon's only hit, a ringing single in the bottom of the fourth as the Blue Devils fell to 11-8-1 overall and 1-3 in Disrict 9AAA.

Central upped its record to 1-3 in the district thanks in part to Andrew Green, Jacob McEntire and Phillips each had a pair of hits.

Coach Anthony Ford's team broke the game open with a 10-run outburst in the top of the fourth.

MT. JULIET 11, STATION CAMP 1
MT. JULIET -- The Golden Bears improved to 16-2 overall and 4-0 in District 9AAA Tuesday night with an 11-1 win over visiting Station Camp.

Jake Harper (2-1) went five innings to get the win, striking out seven and scattering four hits.

Ethan Gross popped a two-run homer in the third, leading a 5-run Bear third inning to break open a 1-1 game. Logan Gray added three hits and Harper helped his own cause with two hits.

MJHS plays at Station Camp tonight at 7 p.m.
