TranSouth Freshman of the Year
LEBANON -– After placing third at this week’s TranSouth Championships, freshman K.C. McGinley was named the conference Freshman of the Year this week.

McGinley and freshman Allyson Agee also earned All-TranSouth honors after both placing in the Top 5.

McGinley posted rounds of 84 and 80 to finish third overall in the tournament, one shot behind Bethel University’s Emily Muse and Baillie Johnson. The Savannah native tied for the lowest round of the 36-hole event at Pickwick Landing State Park Golf Course at Pickwick Dam with her final round 80.

Agee led the tournament after the first round when she carded an 81, and the Dyersburg native finished fourth overall after a second round 87.
