LEBANON - Eric Lutz fired rounds of 73 and 70 for a two day total of 143 to comfortably win the championship flight of the Five Oaks Men's Club Championships Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 21 and 22. Andrew Neeley fired a 73 Saturday to share the first day lead with Lutz, but faded to third place with a round of 81 on Sunday. Chuck Coffee went 78-75 to finish second with a 153, one stroke ahead of Neeley and 10 strokes behind Lutz. Fourth place went to Cary Crawford with a 158; Josh Halbert took fifth with a 159. In the Men's Net Flight - Jack Parker shot a two-day total of 138 to hold off Mike Keen (139) for the championship. Third place went to David Perschbaker (143); two golfers tied for fourth with identical scores of 144 - Dale Eckler and Jerry Higgins. Sixth place belonged to Jerry Higgins (145); Perry Throckmorton was seventh with a 146; Charlie Womble finished eighth at 148; Mike Bolen brought home ninth pace with a 149 and a 150 from Hal Barnes was good enough for 10th place. |
