Watertown High’s former two-time Class 2A all-state defensive lineman Nick Lennox will be enrolling at Lebanon’s Cumberland University in time for the spring semester of 2012.

Lennox, who is transferring from NCAA Division II Carson-Newman in Jefferson City, will be a junior in eligibility and is expected to compete for playing time at a defensive end spot.

Lennox, 6-4, 225 pounds, was a pre-law major at Carson-Newman. In the 2010 season, Lennox played in nine games for the Eagles and was in on nine tackles, including 2.5 for loss.

The son of Heather Bailey, he is a 2010 graduate of Watertown High where he was a two-time All-Region 4A pick and twice was named all-state by the Tennessee Sports Writers Association.
