Friendship Christian earned the right to host a TSSAA Sectional on Monday after winning the Region 4A championship game Thursday -- downing Clarkrange 64-49 at Livingston Academy in the Region 4A finals.

Dalton Patterson paced the Commaders with 17 points. Anthony Williams and Drew Hutchinson each had 9; Mark Sandoval and Allen Heaston each scored eight points as FCS improved to 24-3 on the season.

Friendship led 14-8 after the first quarter and 30-21 at intermission. Clarkrange ended the season 19-14.

IN THE REGION 5AAA FINALS at Northeast, Clarksville High ran past Wilson Central High 67-49. Jacob Williams had 21 points for the Wildcats while Dee Oldham added 17. The Wildcats need a win at Brentowwod High Monday night in a Class AAA sectional to earn a trip to the BlueCross Basketball Championships in Murfreesboro.
