FRIDAY NIGHT RESULTS --

Friendship Christian improves to 11-1 on the season following Friday's 10-0 home win over Class AAA White County High.

Lebanon goes on the road and falls 4-0 at Sycamore High, leaving the bases loaded twice. 

COMBINE FOR PERFECT GAME
LEBANON -- Pitchers Caleb Snider and Connor Gaines combined to throw a 5-inning perfect game Thurday as Friendship Christian rolled over District 8A rival Red Boiling Springs.

Snider (2-1) breezed through the first four innings with five strikeouts with Gaines pitching a 1-2-3 top of the fifth, striking out two of the three batters he faced.

The Commanders (10-1 / 3-0 in 8A) scorched the Bulldogs for 16 hits, including four by Drew Erie and three from Stefan Remus.

FCS is scheduled to host Class AAA White County High Friday at 7 p.m.

MJ Bears blast Northwest
MT. JULIET -- Senior Caleb Chowbay threw a five-innng two-hitter as Mt. Juliet rolled past Clarksville Northwest in a pool play game of the Riverdale Warrior Classic Thursday night.

Chowbay, a Belmont basketball signee, struck out seven and walked one batter as the Bears upped their record to 9-1. Mt. Juliet had 13 hits against Northwest pitching, including four by Hunter Gilbert and two from Robbie Amity.

The Bears will host Hilliard (Ohio) at 5:30 p.m. Friday and Mason (Ohio) at 8 p.m.

Wilson Central 3, Northwest 2
MT. JULIET -- A bases-loaded walk in the top of the seventh proved to be the game-winner Thursday as Wilson Central topped Clarksville Northwest 3-2 in a pool play game of the Riverdale Warrior Classic at Mt. Juliet High.

Kyle Hubbuch drew the walk as the Wildcats improved to 6-5 on the season.

Tyke Williams (2-1) got the decision with six strong inning and nine strikeouts. Tyler Fish pitched the seventh for his first save. Fish had an RBI sacrifice fly and Jacob Williams had the other RBI for Wilson Central.

WCHS will host Fishers High (Ind) Friday at 5:30 p.m. in another Warrior Classic pool play game.

G-Men handle Watertown 7-4
SOUTH CARTHAGE -- Watertown High's baseball team fell to 3-4 overall following Thursday afternoon's 7-4 loss to Gordonsville High at Crump Paris Park.

The Purple Tigers managed five hits against GHS pitching -- three by leadoff man Chase Meador, including a homer and two RBI. Nolan Allison and Dusty Meador had the other two hits for Watertown.

Ben Bain started and took the loss for Watertown, who are idle this weekend.

The Tigers will play at Lancaster Christian Academy Monday in a 5:30 p.m. start in LaVergne and will visit Woodbury for tha 6 p.m. game vs. Cannon County Tuesday at 6 p.m.
