Gallatin 2, Lebanon 0 --
GALLATIN -- Senior Zach Baker threw a complete game three-hit shutout Friday, lifting Gallatin to a 3-0 victory over Lebanon in the opening round of the District 9AAA tournament at Municipal Park. Baker struck out five, hit a batter with no walks as the Green Wave advances to a second round game on Saturday.

Lebanon got a hustle double from junior Dylan Hulse, and singles from Eddie McDaniels and Jay Pittman. The Blue Devils will play Hendersonville Saturday at 3 p.m. in a loser-out contest.

Senior Dent Burger took the loss for LHS, allowing just four hits. He struck out three and walked four.

Wilson Central 9, Beech 4 --
MT. JULIET -- Infielder Eric Guethlein went 4-for-4 as Wilson Central upended Beech 9-4 Friday afternoon in a District 9AAA tournament first round game.

Tyke Williams (4-1) got the win for the Wildcats, who pounded out 12 hits against Buc pitching. Central will take on host Mt. Juliet Saturday at 7 p.m. in a second round game.

Mt. Juliet 4, Portland 3 --
MT. JULIET -- The Mt. Juliet Golden Bears overcame a scare from Portland and pulled out a 4-3 victory over the Panthers Friday evening.

The Bears trailed 3-2 after three innings, but managed to score single runs int he fifth and sixth innings in support of winning pitcher Josh Smith (6-0).  Connor Sugg picked up his 14th save for Mt. Juliet.

Mt. Juliet will host Wilson Central Saturday at 7 p.m. ina second round game.

Station Camp 3, Hendersonville 1 --
GALLATIN -- Station Camp defeated Hendersonville 3-1 Friday at Gallatin's Municipal Park. HHS will play Lebanon Saturday in a 3 p.m. loser-out contest.

Station Camp with take on host Gallatin at 12 Noon at Municipal Park.
