BULLETIN -- Friendship Christian School graduate Stephen Pryor has been called up to the major leagues by the Seattle Mariners and will join the team in Chicago tonight for the team's series with the White Sox. Pryor, 22, began his 2012 campaign with Double-A Jackson where he owned a 1-0 record with seven saves and a 1.13 ERA in 11 appearances. Pryor, 6-4, 245-lbs., has since appeared in nine games for Triple-A Tacoma, pitching 12 innings without allowin a run while converting both of his save opportunities. His fast ball has been clocked at over 100 mph. |
