Lions 15s: two and through PDF Print E-mail

LEBANON -- It was a short stay for the host team as the Lebanon Lions Club 15 year-old all-star team dropped two straight games in the Babe Ruth State Tournament being held at Eskew Field in the Baird Park Complex.

Runner-up in the District 4 tournament a week ago, Lebanon dropped a 10-7 decision to Smoky Mountain Friday, July 18 after having led 7-1 in the early going.

The Lions were ousted from tournament play Saturday as Johnson City scored a 4-3 victory on a walk-off single in the bottom of the eighth by Landon Knock.

14s lose twice in state tournament
PULASKI -- The Lions Club 14s lost two straight games in the Babe Ruth State Tournament falling to Lawrenceburg 10-5 on Saturday. The Lions 14s were blanked 8-0 by Marshall County in Friday afternoon's state opener.
