Mitchell, Crouch take individual medals
LEBANON -- Wilson Central's Kathlene Mitchell fired an 18-hole round of 76 Monday to repeat as the girls' individual medalist in the Brandon Butler Challenge Cup held at the Lebanon Golf & Country Club.

Wilson Central's girls went 1, 2, 3 to claim the overall team honors with a 244. Autumn Stamps and Lise Malbere each shot 84 for the Lady Wildcats.

Mt. Juliet's Stoney Crouch shot a 71 to take the boys' top honors, followed by Lebanon's Jackson McFarlin (75) and Friendship Christian freshman Bo Gwynne (76).

Mt. Juliet won the boys side with a score of 320. MJ team members include: Andrew Wirsch, Nathan Ware, Mat Hotsinpiller, Tucker Hall and Crouch.

The Brandon Butler Challange Cup is played each year in memory of the late former Lebanon High golf standout and LG&CC favorite Brandon Butler.
