FCS volleyball stands 21-0 PDF Print E-mail

MURFREESBORO -- Friendship Christian’s volleyball team improved to 21-0 following Monday’s tri-match sweep of Franklin and Oakland High.

FCS downed Franklin 25-22 and 25-11 in the opener as Kaitlyn Teeter had 13 kills and six digs. Ali Burroughs added six kills and an ace while Alex Sealy was in on four kills and six digs. Setter Sarah Hall dished out 22 assists.

In the second game, the  Lady Commanders defeated the host Oakland team 25-20 and and 25-11. Teeter and Burroughs had eight kill each while Hall has 20 assists.

Friendship Christian will be back in action Thursday, Sept. 13 at Red Boiling Springs to open district play.

The defending state champion Lady Commanders will be one of the favorites in Wilson Central’s annual Fall Fling tournament Friday and Saturday.
