Wilson Central blitzes Lebanon
LEBANON -- Quarterback Jordan Roundtree threw for four touchdowns and ran 47 yards for another as Wilson Central blistered winless Lebanon 45-7 Friday at Tribble Field / Watkins Stadium.

The Wildcats (now 5-0 overall) rolled up 449 yards in total offense on only 32 offensive snaps -- a whopping 14 yards per play -- and eight first downs.

Wingback Trey Givens became the first Wilson Central back so far this year to reach 100 yards rushing as he ran seven times for exactly 100. Receiver Alex Price caught five balls for 111 yards and three touchdowns.

Roundtree completed 7-of-8 passes for 202 yards and touchdowns of 38, 25, 29 and 72 yards.

Lebanon managed 168 yards in offense as Julien Crutchfield led the way with 59 yards on 15 carries and his team's lone score -- a two yard plunge midway throught he fourth quarter.

The victory was the third straight for WCHS over the Blue Devils and evened the series between the two Wilson County schools at 6-6.

Central will be on the road next Friday at Centennial High in Franklin, Lebanon (0-5) will travel to Cookeville.

Friendship Christian 45, Jackson Co. 0
LEBANON -- Stefan Remus and QB A.J. Long hooked up three times for touchdowns as Friendship Christian blanked Jackson County 45-0 Friday at Pirtle Field.

Long completed 7-of-11 passes for 185 yards and three scores. Remus finished with 141 yards receiving. Remus added a 37 yards field goal while Long ran eight times for 95 yards.

FCS improved to 4-1 on the season with the win.

Watertown 45, Pickett Co. 8
WATERTOWN -- The Purple Tigers celebrated homecoming with a lopsided 45-8 victory over Pickett County Friday at Robinson Stadium.

Jake Belcher scored twice in the first quarter for Watertown, once on a nine-yard pass from QB Ty Jobe and later on a 28-yard run. Jobe finished 8-of-9 passing for 77 yards and two touchdowns. He added two rushing touchdowns.

The Tigers (4-0 / 2-0) host Monterey Friday, Sept. 21.

Tri-Cities Christian 39, MJ Christian 21
KINGSPORT -- Mt. Juliet Christian Academy remained winless on the season at 0-5 with a 39-21 loss at Tri-Cities Christian Friday night.
