Wilson Central 35, Centennial 21
FRANKLIN -- Wilson Central remained undefeated at 6-0 with a 35-21 win Friday at Centennial High.

Coach Brad Dedman's team led 21-7 at intermission and opened up a 35-7 lead in the fourth quarter before the Cougars added a couple of late cosmetic scores. Fullback Trey Givens led the WCHS attack with 117 yards on 11 carries and two touchdowns. WCHS will host Portland Friday night for homecoming.

Cookeville 26, Lebanon 13
COOKEVILLE -- Lebanon rushed for 288 yards in a losing effort Friday, falling 26-13 to Cookeville at Eddie Watson Stadium.

The Cavaliers (3-3) broke open a 13-all game with a touchdown at the 2:57 mark in the second quarter, then added a TD in the late stages of the third period.

Senior Ethan Copas ran for a season-high 129 yards on 16 carries and scored a TD. Soph Taye Davis added 97 yards on 15 attempts. QB Christian Haffner completed 4-of-6 pass attempts for 38 yards, but was picked off once.

Lebanon (0-6 overall) will host Station Camp on Friday at Tribble Field / Watkins Stadium.

Friendship 49, Pickett Co. 8
LEBANON -- Friendship Christian improved to 5-1 on the season Friday with a 49-8 win over Pickett County at Pirtle Field. Junior QB A.J. Long threw for 369 yards and six touchdowns. FCS will host Trousdale County on Friday.

MJ Christian 39, King's Academy 0
MT. JULIET -- Noah Wilson scored on runs of 63 and 38 yards to lift Mt. Juliet Christian Academy to a 39-0 victory over King's Academy Friday at Suey Field. The win was the first of the season for the Saints (1-5) and the fisrt career victory for MJCA head coach Jake Roberts.

Mt. Juliet Christian struck for 19 points in the second quarter and King's Academy never recovering. QB Rick VanMalie threw a touchdown pass and ran for score for Mt. Juliet Christian, which had 313 yards rushing.

The Saints will be on the road Friday, playing at Zion Christian in Columbia.

Watertown 57, Monterey 32
WATERTOWN -- The Purple Tigers led only 16-8 at intermission, but piled on the points in the second half for a wild 57-32 win Friday over Monterey at Robinson Stadium.

The Tigers chalked up 525 yards in total offense and 13 first downs. Brannon Hill rushed for 137 yards on 13 carries and scored three touchdowns while QB Ty Jobe completed 10-of-19 passes for 191 yards and two scores. He also ran 12 times for 100 yards and a TD.

Dakota Self was in on 10 tackles, recovered a Monterey fumble and had an 11-yard quarterback sack. Luke Turner had six tackles and a fumble recovery while Michael Mobley and Coopere Jacobsen each had a quarterback sack.

Watertown improved to 5-0 on the season and will travel to Celina Friday for a 7 p.m. game with Clay County.
