| CU's Langille earns national honor |

LEBANON -- For the second time in three weeks, Cumberland freshman Kelsey Langille was voted the NAIA Women’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week on Tuesday, as announced by the national office. The Ardrossan, Alberta, native scored seven goals in two matches for the Bulldogs last week, including a pair of goals versus Campbellsville University and a season-high five goals against the University of the Cumberlands. She netted both goals in the 2-0 win at Campbellsville and had three scores in the first half and two more in the second period in a 7-0 triumph versus the Cumberlands. Langille leads the Mid-South Conference and ranks second nationally in points (42) and goals (20) this season, including four matches with at least a hat trick in eight total outings in 2012. Cumberland is 7-1 overall and tied atop the MSC with a 3-0 conference record. |
