COOKEVILLE -- The Friendship Christian golf team placed third with a score of 340 in the District 8 A-AA Tournament Tuesday at White Plains Golf Course. Friendship’s Bo Gwynne shot a 77 to claim the third place individual medalist spot.

The team will advance to the Region 4 A-AA Tournament to be held Monday, Oct, 1 at the Bear Trace Course at Harrison Bay.

Leading scorers for Friendship were: Bo Gwynne 77, Noah Stewart 85, Austin Grave 87 and Sam Gatlin 91.  The District Tournament was won by DeKalb County with a score of 320. Murfreesboro Central Magnet placed second with a score of 339.
