MSC honors 31 CU football players for academic achievement PDF Print E-mail

LEBANON -– Cumberland University led the way in the Mid-South Conference with 31 football MSC Scholar-Athletes, a program-best for the Bulldogs, as announced by the league office this week.

Student-athletes must maintain a 3.25 grade-point-average and must have achieved at least sophomore academic status to be eligible for the award. A total of 131 student-athletes from the 13 football-playing schools in the Mid-South were among those honored.

Bethel University and Lindsey Wilson followed the Bulldogs with 19 student-athletes on the list, while Georgetown College was next with 16 and the University of the Cumberlands had 10.
