Wilson Central Swim Team had its first two meets of the year by participating in the 2012 MTSC High School Invitational (Nov. 10) and a dual meet with Mt. Juliet, held at the Jimmy Floyd Family Center Friday, Nov. 16.

The competition was furious with teams from Lebanon HS, MJCA, Wilson Central, Hendersonville, Hillsboro, MLK, Beech, Aaron Academy, Portland, Merrol Hyde, Hume Fogg, Cookeville, Fayetteville, Gateway Christian, Franklin County, Lincoln County, Columbia Central and Culleoka Unit School.

“For a year of rebuilding we had awesome results. I was amazed at some of the times from new swimmers, and saw great improvement from returning swimmers," said coach Alex Major."

"I see new leaders stepping up, and a team that has the potential to dominate in future years.  We finished third overall in the meet out of 16 teams.
