I was amazed at some of the times from new swimmers, and saw great improvement from returning swimmers," said coach Alex Major." "I see new leaders stepping up, and a team that has the potential to dominate in future years. We finished third overall in the meet out of 16 teams. This shows how talented we are, and how much future potential we have considering our team is very young. We now head in to a tough division schedule.” The second meet was against Mt. Juliet High, also at the Floyd Center. The Bears, with their heavy senior squad, came out on top after a good effort from Wilson Central. Wilson Central had the following swimmers qualify for the Regional meet in Nashville: Jake Bartow 100 yard Freestyle, 200 yard Freestyle These swimmers also qualified for the State meet in Knoxville: Jake Bartow 100 yard Freestyle, 200 yard Freestyle Wilson Central's next meet is Thursday, Nov. 29, at Smyrna High School. |
