Friday and Saturday at new gym
A mix of local and regional basketball teams are set to participate in the Lebanon Thanksgiving Classic, sponsored by Modern Woodmen Fraternal Financial, Friday and Saturday. Two action-packed days of hoops are planned for the new Blue Devil digs on Hartmann Drive.

“First off, Modern Woodmen Financial has stepped up in a big way with their sponsorship support,” said LHS boys coach Jim McDowell. “Secondly, this will be a tremendous opportunity to show off our new facility. We’re hoping all the basketball fans will come by and watch a couple of games. It ought to be fun.”

Single day admission is $6 for adults; $4 for students. A two-day pass will be available for $10. For those who have had their full of Thanksgiving turkey or football on TV, games will start early both days.

The Watertown boys team will join both the Lebanon High boys and girls programs as Wilson County participants. Macon County High, Smith County, Antioch, Riverdale, Loretto, Franklin Page and Chattanooga Christian will make up the rest of the classic field. Here's the schedule:
