BLUE DEVILS WIN AT HHS -
HENDERSONVILLE -- Jamel Officer buried a late 3-pointer and Zimmer Hunn sealed the deal by knocking down a pair of free throws with 3.8 seconds left as Lebanon rallied for a 54-52 victory over District 9AAA rival Hendersonville Tuesday.

LHS (3-6 / 1-1) was clutch at the line in the final stanza, going 10-for-10 after trailing for most of the first three periods before taking a narrow 33-31 lead into the fourth quarter.

Hunn led the Blue Devils with 16 points, Officer had 12 and DaShawn McMurry added 10. Lebanon finished 12-of-14 at the free throw line.

LHS hosts Wilson Central High Friday, Dec. 14.

PURPLE TIGERS STAND 9-0 -
RED BOILING SPRINGS -- Watertown improved to 9-0 on the season following Tuesday's 61-22 win Tuesday night at Red Boiling Springs.

The Tigers saw three players reach double figures in scoring -- Ty Jobe with 18, Dylan Speck 12 and Maceio Gaines 11.

Watertown opened up an 18-3 lead and never looked back. WHS will be back in action Thursday at Van Buren County.

WILLIAMS HAS 33 FOR WCHS -
GLADEVILLE -- Wilson Central rode a 33-point outburst from Jacob Williams in Tuesday's 69-43 victory over District 9AAA rival Beech.

Leading 16-14 after one quarter, the Wildcats went on a tear and took a 38-22 advantage into intermission. WCHS improved to 5-2 overall, 1-1 in 9AAA while the Bucs slumped to 1-5 / 0-2. Ben Palmer had 19 points for Central while Blake Huffman added nine.

Wilson Central plays at Lebanon Friday, Dec. 14.

PJPII 64, Friendship 42 -
HENDERSONVILLE -- Friendship Christian fell to 1-4 on the season following a 64-42 loss Tuesday at Pope John Paul II. Zac Anderson led FCS with 14 while Allen Heaston and Anthony Williams each scored eight points.

Friendship will be on the road Friday, Dec. 14 at Pickett County High.

GALLATIN 43, MJHS 42 -
MT. JULIET -- A late bucket by Marcus Williams proved to be the game winner as Gallatin rallied for a 43-42 District 9AAA win at Mt. Juliet Tuesday.

Mt. Juliet (now 4-4 / 1-1) led for most of the game until Gallatin (7-2 / 2-0) mounted a fourth quarter comeback.

Nolan Chowbay led the Bears with 14 and Reagan Johnson had 10. Daniel Schroder chipped in with nine points.

Mt. Juliet will visit District 9AAA rival Portland High on Friday.

MJ Christian 68, MADISON ACD 59 -
MT. JULIET -- Jackson Harrell nailed four 3-pointers and finished with 21 points as Mt. Juliet Christian defeated Madison Academy 68-59 Tuesday.

The Saints, now 5-4 overall, also got 16 points from Trevor West, 11 from Brandon Wall and 10 from Zack Jones.

MJ Christian faces a pair of road games this weekend -- playing at The King's Academy on Friday in Seymour and at Knoxville Webb Saturday afternoon.
