The Lebanon High bowling team advanced to the second round of the TSSAA Region tournament thanks to a 17-10 win over Nashville Overton Thursday afternoon. The Blue Devils will take on Goodpasture Friday at 1 p.m.

DISTRICT 10 CHAMPS -- Lebanon is fresh from a thrilling victory over Wilson Central Thursday, Jan. 10 in the District 10 finals at the Smyrna Bowling Center.

LHS defeated Wilson Central 14-13 in the point match win (3396 to 3394 pin total) -- marking the first district title for the program since the 2002 season.

Sean Fugate bowled games of 221-222-225 for a 668 series to lead Lebanon. Andrew Lawrence closed out the tenth frame with two strikes and a 9 count giving the Blue Devils the narrow win.
