|Stretch Internet, CU strike deal for baseball webcasts|
|Monday, February 11, 2013|
A total of 17 Cumberland University baseball games will be shown live as part of the Athletic Department’s new agreement with Stretch Internet beginning with Wednesday’s home opener against Freed-Hardeman at Ernest L. Stockton Field-Woody Hunt Stadium.
The Cumberland portal with Stretch Internet may be accessed through the Game Central link down the right column at http://www.GoCumberlandAthletics.com. Fans may find links for live audio, live video and live stats on that page or on the schedule page for baseball.
Home events will link directly to the Cumberland portal at http://client.stretchinternet.com/client/cu.portal#where a list of events will appear in the box on the right side of the page. Click on Watch for video and Live Stats for the current stats from that game or match. If fans access the portal on a desktop or laptop (not an IPad), they will be able to watch the video on the left side of the screen and the stats on the right. Mobile devices can access only one menu item at a time.
Fans will be asked to register for each event with an email address along with a username and password. Starting with Wednesday’s game versus Freed-Hardeman, viewing will cost $5 per baseball game or $60 for the season. Fans must register with their credit card information to pay for these services.
