Gallatin overwhelms LHS
GALLATIN -- A pressure defense keyed Gallatin's 36-0 victory Friday over Lebanon at Calvin Short Field.

The Green Wave (2-1, 1-1 in District 9-AAA) limited LHS to just 59 yards in total offense and six first downs while sacking the Lebanon quarterback seven times.

QB Morgan Campbell completed five-of-11 passes for 121 yards. The senior also rushed seven times for 26 yards and scored a touchdown.

Eric Debow led the Wave with 70 yards rushing on just six carries and scored a TD. Caleb Robb accounted for two touchdowns and gained 37 yards on 13 attempts.

All told, Gallatin piled up 306 yards in total offense and 12 first downs.

Lebanon slipped to 0-3 overall, 0-2 in 9-AAA. Soph Taye Davis led the Bule Devils with 70 yards on 10 carries -- most of which came in the second half.

IN REGION 4A ACTION -- Gordonsville defeated Friendship Christian 28-21 Friday night at Turney Ford Field -- dealing the Commanders their first loss of the season.

QB AJ Long opened the scoring with a 44 yard run for FCS and wound up leading the team with 94 yards rushing on 17 attempts and two scores. He also completed 11-of-19 passes for 197 yards.

Gordonsville's Kaelin Cason rushed for 227 yards and a touchdown while Payton Watson scroed three times and piled up 74 yards rushing.
