LHS trips Central 3-2 PDF Print E-mail

Lebanon High's volleyball team improved to 7-6 on the season following Thursday night's 3-2 victory over visiting Wilson Central. Game scores: 23-25, 28-26, 16-25, 25-22 and 15-10.

Veronica White led LHS with 17 kills, two aces and 19 digs while Kelsey Yarbrough had 11 kills, four aces and 15 digs. Alex Britt was in on five kills, an ace, one dig and five blocks while Tatum Thompson passed out 25 assists with 10 digs and a block. Nicole Painter had three kills and five blocks.

Wilson Central got 15 kills, two aces, four digs and four blocks from Madlyn Davis. Korri Bowers finished with 12 kills, an ace, five digs and one block. Amy Trice had 37 assists, three aces and 15 digs.

Lebanon will be back in action Monday, Sept. 24 at Mt. Juliet while Wilson Central (18-7 overall) will be participating this weekend in the Father Ryan tournament.

Friendship now 34-0
LEBANON -- Friendship Christian's volleyball team ran their record to a perfect 34-0 on the season following Thursday's 3-0 victory over Gordonsville at the Bay Family Sprotsplex.

Game scores: 25-16, 25-16 and 25-19.

Ali Burroughs paced the Lady Commanders with 14 kills, six digs and three aces. Sam Finley had seven kills, three aces and three digs. Alex Sealy pounded out 11 kills and eight digs.

FCS will play this weekend in the Quad State Tournament in Paducah, KY.
