LEBANON 10, STRATFORD 0 -- Lebanon High's baseball pounded out 13 hits in Friday night's 10-0 victory over Nashville Stratford at Brent Foster Field.
Eddie McDaniels racked up two RBIs on three hits for LHS with singles in the first, second and sixth innings. Jackson Arnold went 3-for-4 with three RBI while Jay Pittman was 2-for-4 with three RBI.

GLADEVILLE -- Lebanon rode a solid pitching performance from Bethany Anderson and took advantage of three Wilson Central errors in Thursday's 5-1 win over the Lady Wildcats.
Trailing 1-0 after three, LHS struck for five runs in the top of the fifth inning -- chasing WC starter Hannah Bodenhorn.
Anderson did the rest, working the full seven innings, allowing just six hits while striking out seven with one walk.

KINGSPORT -- Mid-South Conference officials have announced the eight-team conference tournament bracket that begins Saturday at Domtar Park.
Lindsey Wilson (43-7, 25-5 in the Mid-South Conference) is the tournament’s top seed followed by No. 2-seed Campbellsville (37-13, 25-5). The two teams shared the regular season title with 25-5 records.

KINGSPORT -- Kevin T. Greene tossed his fifth complete game of the season, allowing just six hits with nine strikeouts, and Craig Monson’s two-run double in the first inning was enough in 11th-ranked Cumberland’s 3-1 victory over Shawnee State in the first game of the Mid-South Conference Championships Thursday at Hunter Wright Stadium.
The win was the 1,400th for head coach Woody Hunt in 32 seasons at Cumberland, moving his all-time record to 1,400-580-4.

Gomez, Hall and Hunt grab MSC individual awards |

KINGSPORT -- Cumberland junior Anthony Gomez is the 2013 Mid-South Conference Pitcher of the Year and Lindsey Wilson senior Manny Alonso is the Player of Year conference officials announced Wednesday night at the conference’s annual banquet.
In addition to Alonso and Gomez’s individual honors, Cumberland’s Chris Hall was selected MSC Freshman of the Year and Shawnee State’s Aaron Suydam the MSC Baseball Champions of Character recipient.
Gomez led the Mid-South in ERA (0.95) and runs allowed (10) and tied for the conference lead with 10 wins during the regular season. In his 77 innings pitched, opponents hit just .200 -- which is third best in the conference.
