Southside's Danny Hill stomps out student apathy
The enemy? Student apathy. He developed a battle strategy that he named ICU (intensive care unit), and by communicating with a schoolwide list to track missing student assignments, Hill has systematically and powerfully reformed the learning process at his school and dozens of others. The foundation for this budding paradigm shift is built upon the theme of every student completing every assignment. That means that no zeros are recorded in the grade books. The results are more learning, higher test scores and less negative behaviors. To read the entire story and view the layout, please click here. |
